Towradgi SLSC are holding an ARTC course next Monday night, 6.30pm at their surf club. If necessary, Wednesday night may also be used. Please see award details attached.

Nippers Club Championships

Title: Nippers Club Championships
Location: Thirroul Beach
Description: The under 6’s + 7’s is just a normal nippers Sunday.
The Under 9’s + up compete in the sprint , marathon, flags, swim, board + Ironperson events. (The Under 8’s do the same events but do a wade instead of the Ironperson). The iron person is not part of the points system for the day as the event has a separate trophy . The iron person is a swim – board – run .The 9’s + 14’s do their ironperson separately .The 10’s + 11’s compete as a group + the 12’s + 13’s compete as a group . Depending how many turn up on the day determines the points allocated eg. 1 ,2 ,3 or 1, 2, 3, 4 etc.

Description: Thirroul SLSC will host the Illawarra Branch Championships on Saturday (Jnrs) and Sunday (Snrs).

ARTC
Over two nights – Monday 7th Nov and Thursday 10th Nov

Pre-Requisite: Apply (Senior) First Aid, or Certificate II in Public Safety (Bronze Medallion)

SRC course

This year’s SRC course will be run on Saturday the 19th November and Sunday 20th November from 9am-5pm at Thirroul Surf Club. Candidates must be no younger than 13 years of age.
The pre-requisite swim distance for this course is 200m, in no more than 5 minutes and will be completed at 9am on Saturday the 19th November. If you have any questions or would like to register for the course, please contact me at:
