BECOME A NIPPER
Nippers is a fun way for children aged 5-14 years old to enjoy the beach in a safe way. Our Nippers program is designed to ensure the children have fun at the beach while participating in lessons that guide them to becoming our future lifesavers. Surf Lifesaving is an amazing way for children to connect to their local community and build life long friendships.

Starts: Sunday 18th October - 9:00 for a 9.15 am start

Last Nippers before Christmas: 13th December - 9:15 am

First Nippers after Christmas: Saturday 24th January - 9:15 am

Final Nippers: 14th March - 9:15 am

Nippers end of Season Awards: 14th March - 3 pm at Club Thirroul

If you are not registered and fully paid up, unfortunately our insurance will not cover you, and you will not be able to take part in our nippers programs.
Uniform Requirements
In line with SLS NSW guidelines and our insurance requirements, all nippers must wear:

a cap (blue for u6 & u7 and club cap for u8 and above); and
-
a hi-visibility pink vest
Caps, vests and other items can be purchased online at our shop here, or in person at the Surfclub on Sunday mornings.
